Superlative and subtle Chincoteague sunset, seen since the storm slackened.
Pink and blue, echoed in the waters, a glowing good-bye to the day.
Deepening, darkening, diminishing - mixing into the marsh...
Evening overtakes us
after a satisfying Sunday.
Lovely pix and prose, Jim...!
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous shots, the lighting is wonderful.
Do you spend much time on the beach? How's the sea glass picking? This is a very important question.
There is no sea glass. It's very sad. The beach (on Assateague Island, 30-40 miles long) has NO development and is very clean. Occasionally you can see a bit of broken glass, but not very often. We walk on the beach or in the wildlife area every decent day. There is also a LOT of kayaking down here, ocean and bay.
ReplyDeleteNice, it feels like I can't wait to retire.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a wonderful place to retire.
