Sunny, breezy, and cool

The sand was blowing across the beach pretty hard today. The fisherfolk didn't seem to mind, as they were all covered up.

Every little scrap on the beach accumulated a penumbra of bright grains.

Clear-nosed skates were the catch of the day. Dreams of red drum, black drum, striped bass and bluefish were ruined twice for this fisherman in the time interval between walking past and coming back.

Both specimens went back into the surf, to steal bait another day.
