Almost ready

It has been a long process, but the parking situation at the National Seashore is close to done. P-4 is done.

P-1 is under way and nearing completion. It is a lot (heh, heh) smaller than prior years.

The crowds are starting to gather. There are all kinds of people enjoying the area.

The Wildlife Loop still has its attractions, but the mosquitoes are starting to take over (unless there is a stiff breeze).

I never get tired of the egrets.

This guy had a beautiful, iridescent blue that did not quite come through in the photo.

  1. Nice shots of the purple flowers and snowy egret, Jim, and I never tire of seeing them either. Looks like the parking areas will soon be ready for the summer tourist hordes, but the mosquitoes beat them in!
