Tail end of another nasty low

Rain and wind last night enough to shake the place and wash it away tailed off at midday. We got a bit of time at the beach. The strong wind from the west tore the tops off the waves, providing tiny glimpses of rainbow (look near the center of the picture).

Work on parking proceeds. There is now a huge flat area waiting for a coating of shells.

Sometimes the big machines err and we have to remember not to takes the rules too literally. Otherwise you end up with something like this.
